The ROI in the presidency is off by one important detail. None of the two billion was his own. Much of it was raised by selling access to the president and for direct influence over policy. Even setting up the crypto fund was paid for with a presidential pardon.

Thank you Justin and Charlie for pulling politics and even economics out of the doldrums. Of course nobody is going to stop the little dicktator from making money. The fact that he couldn't have made those billions if it wasn't because of his job is lost on the MAGA voters is sad, so sad. I'd hope that when they experience what other countries are currently experiencing because of the economical downside of the war in Iran, those facts of warmongering will come home to them. I don't have anything against Americans at all. I do have a hate-on for their institutions that kept them back. Their educators didn't educate! Their Intelligence didn't act accordingly. Their armed forces are now acting as if their mandate is to become a slave to National theological ideology! Their government elected representatives didn't serve the people who put them in office. They still don't. I'm glad you discovered a different side of yourself because you decided to sing lol. Charlie, likewise. We are not our jobs or careers. We are human beings first. When we lose the ability to spread our wings we lose something about ourselves that is intrinsically human.

Transcripts please for those of us with less time than interest in your insights.

Ditto. While a transcript wouldnt have the entertainment value of seeing and hearing your delivery, I often prefer reading to watching video clips.

Because we didn’t upload this video natively, we couldn’t generate a transcript but you should be able to find one over on Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H_jw6fUlrrI

Sorry about that!

Thanks. That's a nice feature that I've not used before. It timestaps the transcript in case I do want to view a particular portion.

I have a question. My late father was committed to capitalism, both because he wanted to get richer and because he believed it did the most good for the most people. As I reached adulthood he and I sometimes had late night drinking/talking sessions. He inevitably brought up what worried him most - that "growth," which I gathered is a key requirement of successful capitalism, cannot be sustained "forever." He was a good man who cared about the future and this truly concerned him. All I could do is listen (and tell him to give his extra money to orphans and abandoned dogs and cats). Is my father's worry shared by others? Is it a realistic worry?

Also, I watched this video over at Charlie's and very much enjoyed it. Clopen!

Thanks.
